In a world where danger hides behind every tree, the pack learns hunters are targeting shifters of all kinds. As the Umbra are elusive, lurking in the darkest parts of the forest and often mistaken for myths, tensions rise as some members of the pack blame me for the hunters.
Ajax is all in, ready to show me just how strong our bond can be. But I’m just an overgrown foster kid who has never really had a home. It’s hard to believe in happily ever after when I’m no princess and he’s everything sinister that goes bump in the night.
