As a wedding planner in a small town, it takes a lot to keep my business afloat. And to keep my beloved Princessa in kitty harnesses and fancy kitty food!

Each wedding is a showcase that leads to the next one that might come my way and I take each seriously. Until I shock the heck out of myself by disappearing into a storage closet with the sexiest man I’ve ever met! A decision which comes back to haunt me with a little plus sign on a stick.

Football gave me everything. Fame, money and a life most people envy. One thing I couldn’t find was a woman who loved me for myself not my money. As evidenced by the woman I loved who ditched me at the altar for the best man, my best friend for ten years.

That embarrassment was the impetus for my new business…wedding planning. That way I can save any other poor sap who might be about to walk down the aisle with someone like my former love.

I never predicted that I might have to work with the one-night stand that I haven’t been able to forget, let alone what she’s hiding from me!

Working with Aspen on the wedding of the century and spending more time with her has me rethinking my vow of never loving again! Her cat, Princessa, makes me laugh out loud as they walk around the town. I’ve never seen a cat that walks so happily on a leash! I’m charmed despite my unhappy past. That charm leads to something more. Something lasting.
