He has to stay focused on baseball; it’s the one thing he’s been dedicated to his whole life. Making it to the major leagues isn’t just for himself, it’s also to fulfill his promise to his dad. The only problem is his heart isn’t in it anymore and seeing a specific blue-eyed beauty with passion in hers makes him come face to face with the thoughts he’s been pushing away for months.
