IK none is prolly gonna respond but pls do. I couldn’t bring myself to finish this book.
I stated with god of wrath, where I read about how much Adrian loves lia so I know he loved lia from the beginning.
I came to this conclusion based on the idea that Adrian, in this book doesn’t know that LIA and WINTER are the same person.
So if he thinks his wife, who he loves dies. Then he should grieve her. Not replace her memory and have sex with her replacement like a month or so after her death.
So basically he never really loved lia at all if he was able to replace her soo easily with someone easily.
Also, I didn’t finish sh the book but why does winter think it’s okay for her to leave with Jeremy, she knows he is not her son, and she is literally spitting him from his biological father.
Someone pls respond to my questions.
I understand, but read the book. Once you see what is going on, you will realize that its just a confusion. Finish it and then tell me your thoughts about it.
Finish The book and YOU will understand how much Adrian is loving Lia
I honestly struggled with understanding this book, is winter ( Lia) who escaped and ended up homeless? Or is she Lia and just lost her memories? HElp me understand!!!!

OH MIIIIGOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rina really did a number here. She is My second favorite author in the whole book world. First is Danielle Lori. but anyway, I am planning on reading this book AGAIN. This is just toooooooo...... good? nope, that's a shallow word to describe this book. Adrian is the kind of man that makes my ovaries scream. Now I want an Adrian in my life. Winter is.... well I won't say much about her. everything would just be a spoiler. But I understand why she is the way she is.
Whoa! I didn't expect this to be so suspenseful and intriguing. I thought it was just going to be another Mafia romance novel. Cliffhanger! On to the next book cuz I can't stop reading

Rina Kent has outdone herself with this one. I am without a doubt a dark romance, anti-hero junkie. This book has so much more than the usual dark romance. Adrian, the anti-hero in this story is the quintessential ruthless alpha male. He will have you wanting to fight him with everything breath of your life and at the same time wanting to submit to his dominance. Oh my...........
Winter, aka Lia, is a strong heroine in the story and I love Rina Kent for giving her readers a formidable female rather than the usual whiny, weak women you normally find in so many books with dominant men. Winter finds herself caught up in a drama she doesn't understand and fears for her life and very identity. I struggled along with her and shared her hope of finding an escape from the madness taking place around her.
There are so many twists in this story. The author has infused an incredible mystery with a decadent, dark, and dangerous romance. I'm still panting after reading the book. I can't wait for April 8th for the second book in this trilogy.
Who are Lia, Yan, and the Shadow man? What's real? The memories? Or is everything truly the result of a horrid nightmare?

so i´ve read many books by rina kent and i really like her writing but i have to say this one is not one of my favs. it´s not bad o super boring but nothing really happens in the book till the end. i will continue reading this series but so far just an ok story. didn´t like Winter very much or even Adrian

i told my self i wasn't going to read it , that i would wait for the next book . well i read it and i enjoyed every damn second of it . and now i am suffering because the next book isn't out until April.
