Violet Flames by Kitt Lynn
Violet
There’s a belief among the patients at Havenfield that broken omegas end up with broken packs. After all, no alpha wants a traumatized omega as a mate….that is, unless they’re refused at a “proper” institution. Then they settle for us.
But I’m not looking to settle.
At twenty-eight years old, I’m happy to live out the rest of my days without an alpha telling me what to do. Even if that means I won’t live much longer—omegas my age simply don’t survive very long without a pack to tend to them.
But I’m okay with that.
I’ll die clinging to the last memories of the love of my life, and whatever is left of my pride.
But my doctors have other plans.
Forced to live with a pack I don’t know to nurse their sick omega back to health, I’ve decided I’m done doing as I’m told.
Eager submission was never my strong suit.

No character growth. I was expecting attitudes to change over the Alphas “owning” the Omegas and more communication, but it never happened. I was super surprised at the ending, expected at the very least some apologies.
I can't understand how anyone can like alphas punishing omegas, good girl, that's so ridiculous. I like the omegaverse, but I get irritated every time I read this kind of thing, I just stop reading.
