Velvet City promised a fresh start, a place to finally settle down and call home. And for a while, it seemed like that’s exactly what it was.
Until everything changed.
I shouldn’t have gone to that floor during my shift.
I shouldn’t have seen what I saw.

In fact, they might just be my salvation in a world gone mad. If we could all survive the chaos that threatened to consume us, perhaps we could find a way to build a new future together.
