When Jace Conway intervenes and help two women being harassed in a store, he never expected to find the woman who would turn his world upside down. After his wife, Polly, kicked him to the curb, he’s wanted nothing more than to have her call and tell him she made a mistake and to come back. First, there’s the issue of his last name. Then his mother shares her disapproval in a less than respectful way. Lily finds out some news, her mother-in-law gets arrested, Phoenix and she are on the outs, and she has to uncover whether her mother-in-law is guilty or lying. All in a days work.

Can Jace make a decision where he doesn’t lose one of the two most important things in life, or will he make terrible decisions and ultimately putting one at risk of disappearing from his life?
