The writing in this is actually pretty good. Its a fleshed out series. Not what I thought based on the description (a collection of standalone stories). Started out good, I don't particularly love books that have two separate storylines/main character archs happening simultaneously. Despite that, I thought the author handled the switching of perspectives well. Personally just wasn't a fan of Lizzies story. Appears 2 more characters perspectives get added in the progressing books (gentle scars/primal lust) overall the entire thing switches between 7 different perspectives. (Grace, Lizzie, Devin, Dom, Caleb, Veronica, and Vince) noting I only read the first book (wounded kiss) so can't color my opinion about how it progressed or improves. Tbd on if I come back to read more.
