In the darkness I am safe. The seven sets of eyes are always here, bringing me comfort and making me feel less lonely. When the light is on though, I am beaten, tortured, and other unspeakable things are done to my body. Each time I sleep, it takes my body longer to wake up. What do I do though, when I find myself free from my chains, and thrust into a world of light?
The seven sets of eyes I’ve always dreamt of, end up being real. What do the men who possess those eyes want with me? Will they torture me just as the male before did? Or do they have other plans for my body? Each touch chases away some of the darkness.
Is it enough to keep away what is coming? Especially because it is coming from within me.
