This is a beter book than its counterpart. Just hated that they admitted that they were in love mentally but never really send it to each other. Also the hero said a couple of lines at the end to make the heroine believe that he chooses her, that she is not second to his first wife. I mean geez 🙄 let’s be real here. You just told her she will never be number one ☝🏽. That his deceased wife will always be first, always be it for him. And not a couple minutes later you convince the heroine that it’s bullshit. Very unconvincing! That scene needed to be more than it was to convince the readers. It needed a more in depth dialog about his feelings and what’s in his heart and hers. So we can understand his thought process more. So we can really believe that she is not a replacement but the woman he loved. And yes we het to hear this. But not towards the heroine. Book was a good read with here and there things that could have been more clear and that could have creates more of a visual picture for us book lovers.
