Davenport family saga with more plot lines to come with all the brothers. This story is about Nate and Sky and the love they have for each other but are too scared to let go. Sky and her long time crush on Nate her brother’s best friend doesn’t think she is worthy and keeps using her plus size as the excuse and that Nate rejected her when she was 18. Nate is trying to stay away as she is forbidden fruit being his best friend’s little sister. Nate has strong feelings for Sky and returns to help her with her business and the promise he made to her brother to protect and look after her. Added to this romance is Arthur Davenport the patriarch of the family wanting to see his grandsons united and loved and tries to manipulate his grandsons into marriage. Nate and Sky’s chemistry is hot, a little BDSM adds some spice but not over the top. A little annoying that Sky keeps using her plus size as an issue even though Nate shows her how much he loves her. The plot twist at the end adds some teary moments which is heartfelt and brings more depth to the story. There is more unveiling and builds up the plot in the last chapters which segues into the next book. This is the start of the Davenport brothers and eager to read more as curious about all the brothers especially Knox and Ryot. Plus would love to see what happens to Sky’s friends especially Zoe. I am sure more will be revealed in the next books.
