Lauren, freshly arrived in England, is looking forward to starting a new career with the London Symphony Orchestra, and a new life away from her indifferent, foolish father. But she finds that an ocean is not enough to separate her from his mistakes. After letting his company be taken over by the infamous Corporation, one bad choice after another has left him afoul of its ruling body. Only Thomas Williams, The Corporation’s powerful Number Two, can save him. For a price, of course. His daughter. Thomas had never wanted a wife, a family, or anything conventional in his life.

His demanding sexual predilections and violent past had always made such things seem out of his reach. But The Corporation has just made a deal with a devil even more dangerous than they are – The Bratva Crime Ring. The Bratva are old-fashioned monsters, and they believe that marriage and children make a man – or at least make him easier to handle. So a seemingly docile, innocent young woman like Lauren, who owes him her father’s life, seems to be the perfect choice. But soon, what was just an expedient arrangement turns to passion, loyalty, even friendship. And maybe more. Maybe a real future together. If his past doesn’t get them killed.

The Reluctant Bride is a Dark Mafia Romance and is 18+ only.

jokes aside actually reviewing this book , it seems just like the book cover they went for a cheaper route for the editing . a few grammatical mistakes , a new scene starts all of a sudden and it gets confusing, there is a little sexism as there is with almost most romance novels , there is body shaming as usual , its as If though if you arent 'the perfect fit' you're either too skinny or too fat no in between for indie writers. the author proceeds to call in 'shitty shades of grey books' but fails to realize it was much better than hers. honestly you might like reading this , but mid-book i got annoyed at it and had to back out.
