One text to the wrong number…mine…and everything changed.
He won’t tell me his last name, and maybe that should throw up a thousand red flags, but when I’m all alone in a new city and struggling to make ends meet, his texts are the lifeline I’ve been desperate for.
But I never would have answered that text if I’d known that Lincoln Daniels, superstar hockey player extraordinaire was the one sending them.
He’s trying to sweep me off my feet now. He says he’s obsessed.
He wants me wearing his number…permanently.
The question is…is he still the wrong number, or can this hockey god prove he’s Mr. Right?

i love an obsessive ML but this is downright red flag obsession, he got the beauty privilege that she's willing to look over the thought that he's a creep.

Okayyy so this took a dark turn near the end which i didn't expect. If you are expecting a wholesome hockey romance this is not for you. The male MC Is the literal definition of obsessed. The stalkery, controlling, crazy type. I've read quite a few dark romances so it didn't shock me, but it did surprise me because i didnt expect Lincoln to do all that to make her stay.

It was a bit ridiculous. Every single man she meets is so overcome with immediate lust, they all have to try to get with her at all times.

So true. She's attracting creepers and he was getting jumped by naked girls and that too on ice.

Creeper alert! The guy was not just a stalker but seemed mentally ill. The girl was brave but in the end lost her credibility acc. to me. Won't recommend.

Right? I cringed through the whole book, She is just a magnet for creeps and attackers.
