The Perfect Fit by Sadie Kincaid
One wannabe writer from Brooklyn.
Three insanely hot billionaires.
One very indecent proposal.
West Archer, Ezekiel Cavanagh, and Xander King. AKA The Unholy Trinity. Ruthless. Ambitious. Intimidating.
With dark tastes and even darker desires, they’ve been searching for the perfect woman to fit into their unique lifestyle for over a decade. But despite their best efforts, none have made it past three months. Believing they’re destined to never find the one, they swear to stop looking.
Until they meet Lily.
There’s something about Lily Sloane, something that captivates all three of them. For the first time ever, it seems like they may have truly found the perfect fit. But as we all know, there is such a thing as too good to be true.
Lily Sloane isn’t the penniless girl from Brooklyn they think she is. And with a past full of secrets and lies that she’s trying to escape, the unholy trinity might have bitten off more than they can chew. When trust is broken, is there any way back?

The Perfect Fit was about 38-year-old West Archer, 36-year-old Ezekiel "Zeke" Cavanagh, 35-year-old Xander "Fitch" King (AKA The Unholy Trinity. Ruthless. Ambitious. Intimidating), and 24-year-old Lily Sloane, a bike messenger/wannabe writer from Brooklyn. (The author didn't reveal Zeke and Xander's ages until Chapter 60, but at least it was finally shared with the reader, right?)
Content warnings include: CNC, knife play, blood play, and primal play.
(Side Note: Lily and West shared a history from 14 years earlier. The author revealed that early in the book, but didn't expand on it until much later.)
Lily met Xander, West, and then Zeke during one of her deliveries for West at their company. Unknown to her, all three of the guys took an instant liking to her. Later that night, she and her roommate went to a club (that was owned by Zeke, West, and Xander) and ended up sitting with the three guys. Another thing that Lily didn't know was that these men were into sharing, not just their women, but each other as well. They eventually propositioned her with a three-month trial relationship, and they made it hard for her to refuse because they manipulated the situation until she honestly didn't have a choice.
Even though Lily was a bike messenger, she also wrote articles for a local magazine, hoping to one day become a writer at the company. These four main characters were made for each other, and they got along great. However, secrets were being kept by everyone...especially Lily. The three guys wanted to know what the subject matter was of the article she was currently working on, but she refused to tell them, saying they would find out at the same time everyone else did.
Unknown to Lily, she had some enemies who didn't like her being with the guys, and things started unraveling the closer they got to the three-month relationship deadline. Lies about Lily were told to (and believed by) West, Zeke, and Xander, and the first two set out to ruin her. Xander wanted to confront her, but the other two overruled him.
When the lies and secrets were revealed, the men did their best to set things right, but it was an uphill battle. Once some of the things Lily was keeping from them came to light, everyone was put in danger that had to be eradicated in some form or fashion.
This story was so long (78 chapters) that it was overwhelmed with information dumping. The author could easily have ended the book 20-30 chapters sooner, but she kept adding one plot twist after another. There were so many plot changes that this story would have rivaled any B-rated motion picture shown on the silver screen...and not in a good way. There was a lot of push/pull and conflict in this book, surrounded by angst, drama, melodrama, and a windy, twisty emotional rollercoaster that was overwhelming at times.
While all four of the main characters were well-developed, and perhaps a tad mature, they still had so much work that needed to be done to make them better. Unfortunately, not all of them made that growth happen.
I gave this a three-star rating mainly because I did enjoy it...even if it took me longer to read it than it usually does. I had to walk away from it for a day or two to get out of the boring trench I would find myself in from the info dumping.
I really love this book
Lovely book, had a lot of sex scenes at first but then it mellowed out a bit and built back up. I loved the ending, it was so wholesome!!
