4/5. Don't really know how to feel about it cuz I can't say I particularly enjoyed or was intrigued reading it but it gave me a lot of insight on trauma, did, the things people do to save their own sanity from themselves, the brutality of a person destroying the helpless other whom they're responsible for, loneliness, etc. I'm giving a 4 stars for what I learned from here. I'd suggest not to consider this book as a horror one but it gave me a thrill at the later part. However, I think this book could've been shortened
