My new roommate doesn’t seem to like me …

Until one night when her boyfriend won’t take no for an answer, I have to step in, and I realize, the grumpy attitude she’s given me since I moved in is because she’s been dating a douchebag.
After she sends him packing, I make it my mission to cheer her up. And in the process, I find that she’s creative, charming, and fun to be around. What starts as trying to help my roommate, turns into wanting something more.
But she’s hesitant. Scared to start a new relationship while still dealing with the fallout from her last—namely, an ex who won’t leave her alone.

Can I help her feel safe enough to take a chance again? Or will I have to be strong enough to leave her alone?
