The perfect world I thought I lived in shattered around me in an instant. My family was gone as the town I grew up in burned around me. Forced to run and hide in the woods, I found myself with a group of strangers. Together, we struggled to survive with no knowledge of what was happening around us.
But as time passed, dangers seeped into the perilous salvation we had constructed in the woods. Finding myself closer to the root of the problems than I ever thought possible, I know I can’t make it through this alive on my own.
Surviving in this crumbling world should be the only thing on my mind. But when death stares you in the face, you realize who and what you should truly be surviving for.
