Savage has lived centuries with a name that feels more like a curse than an identity. As a dragon shifter burdened by his family’s tarnished legacy, he’s hardened himself against humans and emotions alike. That is, until he meets Kaida Loren, a fiery and fiercely independent human who challenges everything he believes about love, trust, and himself.
Thrown together by unexpected circumstances, Kaida finds herself caught between Savage’s gruff exterior and the undeniable pull of their growing connection. But danger lurks as past betrayals resurface and Savage’s enemies threaten to tear them apart. To protect his mate, Savage must embrace the vulnerability he’s always feared—before he loses her forever.

A tale of passion, magic, and the healing power of love, Savage will leave you breathless and longing for more.

Very badly written. Clearly English isn't her 1st language and the culture she must come from makes things sound very off. But, either way, award winning? Yeah, right. Good luck figuring out who is speaking, when she bothers actually having them speak, rather than describing what they've said. Also, it's very difficult to figure out which person's POV the story is currently in. There are so many irrelevant POV's in her stories, it's absurd. She's wordy and hard to understand even when the English is correct. I tried another of her novels, same. It was very underwhelming, considering it's a fated mates romance. She should try a different type or something. Sad to say but she's simply a bad author. But, if you want to mindlessly read, and don't care if it really makes sense, before you go to sleep, this might work. Just keep your expectations low.
