I track people who are lost. Or injured. When an emergency beacon is activated on King Mountain and our security team can’t find them via drone, I hike to the location of the beacon to track and rescue. There have been sightings of at least one mountain lion in the area, so I haul a** to get there ASAP.
I expect to find remains. Instead, I find a beautifully curvy and infuriating woman.
She says she doesn’t need help, but when I tell her about the mountain lion, she reconsiders. She says she’ll let me stay, as long as I don’t bother her.
