There have been countless stories of tragically unrequited feelings, but I’m not sure any are quite as pathetic as mine.
Phillip “Lip” Lowell is one of the biggest rock stars on the planet. I should be grateful just to work for him, to travel the world at his side, and do my tiny part to bring his music to life.
Those stereotypes about rockstars, though? Yeah, they’re pretty accurate.
I’ve been working for Lip for three years. That’s three full years of kicking leggy models out of his bed, of watching him drink too much and cleaning up his messes. I should hate him, I should have quit ages ago and run far, far away to piece together what’s left of my broken heart.
Everyone has a limit though, and it takes a positive pregnancy test to know I just hit mine.
