Emotional story for both Gio and Mila. Mila struggling to take care of her family and survive meets Gio an emotionally scared cold business man. Their attraction leads them to a relationship but is torn apart by Gio and his mistrust of women wanting his money. The communication between the two is what leads them to hurting each other but Mila eventually finds the strength to walk away. Gio realises his mistake and tries to win Mila back. There is a lot of emotional angst between the two and gets a little teary at the end but the two lovers finally admit their love. The family of both Mila and Gio play a role and help bring the two together and there are ties to other romances that are part of the series. Good read with some deep emotions.
