The story is good, if you're in the mood for a less sexy more emotional read. The writing style is very conversational, not everyone's cuppa, but I enjoyed it. The characters were flawed and realistic. So all the ingredients for a good book, but it sort of fell off for me. I think there were too many subplots and it watered down their relationship and reunion. IMO, the subplot should have been the ex or Remy's childhood abuse, running both together on top of the stuff with their marriage, kind of flattened the book.
