Mason foster goes through assistants like some people go through tissues. He’s sick and tired of having to replace them, so his best friend and business partner decides to help him out.

Kennedy Myers is here for a job and nothing else. But when the money is too good to be true, there’s nothing she won’t do to please her new boss. She’s bought and paid for, so who is she to say no? Especially when she likes it.

Warning: This dirty office romance is over-the-top filthy. If you want a possessive alpha with a bossy mouth, then do what you’re told and get this book! Seriously, though, if Mason asks, just say you bought it. He’s grumpy.

Rushed, horrible story. Wish I could have given this 0 stars. If you read, please do so with the following warnings since the author doesn't provide them.

This story contains: Sexual assault, R*pe, Stalking

Review: Kennedy - Female lead (FL). Money to care for her ailing Grandfather is running out. Needs a better paying job. Horrible living situation. Instantly turned into, or assumed to be, a sextoy for every other male she interacted with short of her grandfather.

This is her backstory: a young woman available to men. Oh, but we briefly have a few sentences over halfway through the story that she wants to be a jeweler. But that doesn't come up again. FL isn't meant to have dreams, she's meant as a fantasy object and a collection of "virgin wet holes" for the male to use.

Don't expect any meaningful conversations with friends, other females (such as the other secretary), or really anyone else in the book, incusing the ML. FL has no friends. No one talks to FL. FL is here for one thing: the needs of the male lead. Got it? Good.

Mason - the male lead (ML). Highly successful and business-oriented. Well educated. Has long-standing friends. Made himself up from nothing. Can spend without a care. Love's the Green Bay Packers. Must win. Hasn't had sex in ages! Hates women and men who have thrown themselves at him. Promptly loses all control of his faculties and r*pes FL within 15 minutes of meeting her. Including engaging in fluid play without protections or concerns about safety on both sides. FL must be claimed by him. She's dirty because other men have touched her. Any responses she has are an act. Steals her panties to pleasure himself with them. Knowingly stalks FL back to her house that same day and watches her windows until the lights are out.

The Story: Not much. A short, sweet scene between FL and her grandfather. Doesn't talk to anyone else about her wants, needs, or thoughts. Including the ML. FL's boss-appointed guard is nearly fired for doing his job and being given a muffin. Why? Because guard is another (far older) man, but ML believes all men are pigs and would look at her.

ML continues to force his needs on FL for entire story. But since she's a "hired prostitute" (later revealed to be...gasp!...a virgin-to-be-claimed™) supposedly she wanted it?

"Welcome to your interview! Strip so I can assault you since I have no control over myself and immediately think of impregnating you. Yes, let's do fluid play before I even find out if you are clean, or protected. It's a-ok because I know I'm clean, but you're a "dirty" "prostitute" who's been with so many other men."

Later in the story, ML r*pes FL again WHILE SHE'S ASLEEP because he wants to impregnate her. Last I checked, when someone's asleep they can't consent to a partner forcing their ejaculate into you.

But this is fine since she's a prostitute! Plus, he's bought her clothing and shoes. And he even paid for 5 years at the care home. And he's had doctor's look at her grandfather's medical records without permission or any converstaions with FL. That should balance things out.

Also, how did love came into the picture? On either side? Did we somehow miss those build up chapters before that happened? Because you won't find them here! There is no indication of ML providing us with anything more than thoughts of sexual frustration and release. And any chapter where FL is the focus is also just sex, or potentially getting men fired because she interacted with then in nornal day-to-day scenarios.

Their strangely sudden love (which popped out of left field like some zombie) is only really focused on in the last scene. Where she overheard that he truly does think "she was a whre." Upon attempting to run away from this situation FL is then physically/forcibly brought back and kissed into love? Without telling her that he know now that she wasn't a prstitute

Overall: 0/5 The plot reads like it was written by a teenager who tried to copy an old Harlequin romance novel but failed due to lack of interest.

The sex reads like it was written by a guy who's never had sex before, but certainly watched porn. In fact, most of the sex scenes seem pulled straight out of Male Fantasy 101 given how inactive the FL is, and how they are oriented on the pleasure, prowess, and eventual release of the ML.

I get this is fantasy, and we should subvert our expectations, but if you just didn't want us to have any expectations and wanted this about the sex, you could have done away with all of the fluff chapters in between.

Perhaps it could have been hot, had FL been given any space, indication, or chance to show her own interest or initiation of any of the sexual acts. Or perhaps if the author had learned what consent was. Or maybe, just maybe, if they had strung together a fully fleshed out story.

      But this was a mess.

Beautiful story. Does anyone know the author or book name of several best friends (4males) that are bachelors and all have met their partners. 1st story is a girl and guy met in a bar and had a one night stand then they meet on a business trip as she is a contractor to promote the luxury private planes the guy owns. They give each other nicknames such as Irish and blue. 2nd story is a guy that is divorced and a nanny and daughter show up that he didn’t know existed. Another story is a video game developer that loves BDSM and his neighbor is a writer of horrors that starts a chat wanting to learn about BDSM. I haven’t read the other story but I forget to bookmark the books and I am having hard time finding them.

I’m honestly surprised by the rating for this very very ‘rushed’ book. This doesn’t deserve more than 1-star tbh. I have never read such a messed up plot ever. This is only smut not a book. Don’t know what the author was thinking while writing it.

Theyve done a sweep of harassment getting blogs removed about them but some stuff is still up on reddit. Theyre bullies

Go back to the funny, dynamic female leads.
