They say once bitten, twice shy. But I’ve never really been a fast learner.

You don’t forget the man who leaves you in the dust – literally, driving off as you stand there sobbing, clutching your borrowed prom dress and shoes.
You certainly don’t fall in love with him when you see him again after spending the better part of 15 years imagining his painful death from a fall off a cliff into a pit of hungry alligators.
Well, you shouldn’t.
Should you? No, you definitely SHOULDN’T. Got it.
So explain to me why, 15 years after that fateful night, am I standing here face to face with last man I ever wanted to see again, Finn O’Reilly, thinking, he is still the sexiest man I’ve ever seen?

He does sell his apology well. Arrogant prick, always so damned charming.
To make things worse, now I’m stuck with him for a week…in Paris.
Good thing there’s shopping and restaurants and museums to keep me busy.
Right? Right.
Then why can’t I think of anything else other than knocking on his hotel door and telling him to pick up where we left off; no, not the dust leaving part, the hot, steamy, fog up the car windows kissing part.
Question is, after 15 years, can I really forgive him for what he did? And how will I handle it, if all he wants is a week of ‘what happens in Paris, stays in Paris’?
Maybe the only reason broken hearts heal, are to get broken again.
