Obsessed – to be preoccupied or fill the mind with someone continually and to a troubling extent.
As soon as I realized she existed, I lost the ability to look away. She was always destined to be mine.
I’m Sebastian Lockwood; a king among men. And kings get to take what they want.
My little bird disagreed. She fought me, disobeyed me even though we both know she belongs to me.
So I broke her, bent her to my will.
I pushed too hard, loved too much and she ran from me.
But letting her go was impossible. So I chased; hiding in the shadows, silently pulling the strings that would bind her to me.
Two years have passed, I’ve waited long enough. It’s time to reclaim my queen; to take what’s mine.
The trap is set, a gilded cage worthy of royalty and only I have the key.
I’ll make her pay for leaving me. I’ll make her love me, want me as much as I do her.
I couldn’t stop if I tried.
She’s my obsession.

The loopholes and shoddy writing is because she has copied my work and i found it in 12 dec 2024. I have raised my complaints.

My book is "Sebastian's obsession"

I request all readers help to get justice for my hard work.

Its a poor girl living with a single mom going to an elite prep school, stalked and claimed by an older boy who uses his friends to force her to fall in line with the unwanted relationship. She evades the mmc by living with her divorced father. they dont even get married in this book. I don't see any remote comparison other than stalker behavior and the same name Sebastian. the book posted on the goodnovel site is barely readable, poor syntax, poor english, incorrect punctuation, You didn't invent stalker romance. Jessa Kane, Jenika Snow and other have been doing this for years, do you think they all stole from a third world writer posting poorly written tripe on a fanfic site ?

Honey, as a person who does not like anything Gemma Weir writes, you are seriously flattering yourself if you think any one believes that unreadable, poorly edited, barely passable English writing was stolen by any one. Humble yourself because you are honestly delu-lu right now.

I got to be very frank with you, the book I found on GoodNovel is nothing like this. The mmc is a young professional, the story starts with apparently both main characters all ready knowing and having some contact between their families, the family dynamic is different, there's no 'squad' around the mmc, the fmc is a totally different personality. Both mmcs are stalkery but that it. The book on GoodNovel is very badly written, and I feel awful saying that if the writer is a little kid.

Where is your book, so that we can compare? I googled and got one hit for Sebastian's obsession but its completely different so maybe not yours.

Jo Jo, can I suggest you buy the book rather than steal it off a pirating website. Until then I don’t think anyone cares what you think. Regards Gemma Weir aka the author you stole it from xoxo

File a complaint and go. You're screeching to an indifferent crowd. and the fact that you expect people to pay for shoddy writing is upsetting. People here left kind helpful comments about glaring errors and your response is 'You should be paying me!" I don't want to pay for a book where the writer clearly doesn't care about details. Why should I?

The progression of the mother's character was a total disappointment. She started out weak and turned into a freaking idiot. Otherwise, a standard obsessive-love high school to college dark romance. Didn't love it nor hate it but, I do think it dragged a bit towards the end and could have been a few chapters shorter.

I also want to point out: in the second or third chapter, we are told Starling is 16 years old. Her mother is 32 and her father is 40. So, doing the math, a 23 or 24 year old got his 15 or 16 year old girlfriend pregnant and then they got divorced??? when Starling was 2 years old. Either the writer's math is off or she's brushing off a grown man impregnating a minor who can't consent.
