He’s obsessed with me and determined to claim me as his mate.
His first step is to hire me as his assistant, which I can’t refuse for the money.
His second step is to propose a fake relationship, which I need to keep my family at bay.
And though I’m ashamed to admit it, the idea of submitting to him is starting to arouse me.
He’s impatient in the office and possessive in his house.
I tell him he’s not the boss of me, but unfortunately he is.
His pushiness should turn me off, but it does the opposite.
His controlling behavior is annoying, but it makes me beg for things I can’t say out loud.
I’m in deep trouble, and I should have known all along.
Because what started as a transactional relationship is slowly tearing me apart.
He demands complete ownership, but I’m scared to let it all go.
He says I fuel his dominating side, but I’m afraid to lose control.
Can I surrender completely to my obsessed mate?

TLDR:/ Short, immature writing, rushed, but cute and worth a read if you're looking for angsty alpha and a frustrating mate.

This story has SO much potential. It's super rushed and I halfway feel like this was written by someone naive. Maybe 17-24 depending on experience. It also, didn't read like "most" shifter reads. I didn't register or remember they were werewolves, there VERY few points made on the subject. Missed a HUGE opportunity to reeeally dig into their mating mark and what it should have meant. It was shorter than most I read as well, cute, but I probably won't read more from this author.
