Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to nominate my jerkface of a boss, Kingston Chase for the worst boss of the year award. I don’t know if that’s a category at your esteemed paper as yet, but if not, it should be.

Yours Sincerely,
Skye Redding

Skye,
You do realize you sent this to me, your boss, right?

Not Amused,
Kingston Chase

Kingston,
Maybe if you cracked a smile some days, you wouldn’t be the monster that you are.
Skye
P.S. And of course I realized. I was just giving you a heads up before I actually submit something.

Skye,
Just so you know, you never have to let me know before you want to give me head…a heads up.
Kingston
This was the email exchange after one week at my new job. Not even I could have predicted where this was going. I had no idea just how much Kingston Chase would change my life.

Had promise but fell flat and chemistry needed work. Liked the inclusion of the friends but the interplay between the characters did not add value. The enemies with benefits was too corny and the relationship between the two MCs just ended up sleeping with each other and had a part time relationship. Skye’s friend Elisabetta was off the rails trying to find herself and was a distraction and what subplot there may have been died with no detail. Intro of Juniper and her makeover is leading into next romance with Remi but not sure I want to put myself through another disjointed romance. Writing didn’t flow for me and didn’t spark any interest, Skye kept hating on Kingston at work then slept with him outside the office and berated him on his client choices. Story line needed work to build the chemistry between the two MCs.
