My best friend’s enigmatic older brother is completely off-limits: we are polar opposites. It would never work out.
He is a workaholic photographer who jets around the world to exotic locations and hangs out with the beautiful, rich and famous.
And I’m a community worker who is intent on saving the world with kindness.
I don’t want to be another messed-up casualty in his gallery of broken hearts.
As I find my feet in the Big Apple, we are thrown together, igniting a crackling attraction that I can’t deny.
And I’m discovering there’s more to this sophisticated silver fox than is pictured in the celebrity social pages.
But he will never put down his camera and see me as I am.
If we kiss and cross that line, I risk losing my best friend.
And my soft, vulnerable, stupid heart could be smashed into irreparable smithereens.
