Ebony se junta a um aplicativo de namoro alienígena porque não há homens decentes na terra, ou pelo menos algum que queira uma garota plus size. Dizer que ela é um pouco ingênua é um eufemismo. Traumatizada desde cedo por um encontro casual com um alienígena, ela foi superprotegida por sua mãe e como contadora nem precisa sair de seu apartamento com muita frequência. Quando ela se inscreve, ela especifica que deseja apenas um alienígena humanóide. Quando ela consegue uma correspondência, ela fica muito animada e aceita antes de ver a foto dele. Quando ela finalmente vê a foto ela fica horrorizada, quatro olhos e verde nem chega perto de humanóide! Ela aparece no site de namoro conforme as instruções, esperando sair para a partida. Parece que ela não leu as letras muito finas e minúsculas na parte inferior do formulário. Ela está presa em pelo menos conhecê-lo.
Wrath foi evitado pelas poucas fêmeas de sua espécie por causa de seus defeitos congênitos. Falta-lhe uma barbatana e os seus “twitchers” são muito curtos. Ele deixou seu planeta para lutar na guerra e conheceu o capitão Zychoc e seus homens. Eles se tornaram sua família e o aceitaram como ele era. Quando Zychoc encontra seu companheiro humano Vi, ele fica com inveja do relacionamento deles e se inscreve em um aplicativo de namoro esperando a mesma coisa. Ele não espera que seu par o rejeite antes mesmo de conhecê-lo! Quando ele tenta sair da partida, parece que ele também não leu as letras miúdas no final da página!
Quando Ebony e Wrath entram na área para se encontrarem, ficam surpresos ao ver outros cinco casais ali. Aparentemente, eles também rejeitaram suas correspondências e estão sendo forçados a enfrentá-los. Ninguém está feliz por estar lá. Mas eles terão uma surpresa ainda maior quando o chefe da agência de namoro diz que eles devem correr uma corrida para ganhar sua liberdade. Apenas um casal vencerá e os outros estão todos destinados a um destino ainda pior. Fale sobre uma agência corrupta!
Wrath e Ebony estão em desvantagem no início porque Ebony está muito fora de forma e as outras fêmeas, sendo elas mesmas alienígenas, são todas fortes e lustrosas. Ambos começam com uma atitude muito ruim um para o outro, mas rapidamente percebem que, se não trabalharem juntos, não terão que se preocupar em chegar à linha de chegada. Alguns dos obstáculos vão pegá-los primeiro!
Tanto Ebony quanto Wrath devem trabalhar e enfrentar alguns de seus problemas pessoais para que possam trabalhar juntos. Eu realmente amo a maneira como o relacionamento deles progride! E que final surpresa

I wonder what else of his will slip off my tongue—wink, wink! Okay, I admit it! I joined a space exchange dating app. Please don't judge me. At least not until you see the male dregs left here on Earth. I've read his profile, and he sounds goooorgeous! So I accepted it as soon as it came through, even though the photo still hasn't uploaded properly. Anyway, I just know he's going to be the equivalent of an alien Adonis. Oh...hang on a sec....it's just loading now. ....Oh...my...God.... Nooooooooo! Can I get out of this? What are the terms and conditions of the app? My heart thunders in my chest as I read them. There is only one way to get out of this permanent union, but it goes against all my morals. Why didn't I read the damn small print? What should I do?

Er.... I think the description is for an entirely different book here? I haven't read other than the first page but yeah, it's not Hades and Persephone.

OK I haven't read this yet but the storyline reminds me a webtoon I follow called Lore Olympus, is a soap opera of sorts and it focuses on the story of Kore/Persephone & Hades total worth looking into.
