Ends on a brutal cliffy especially for a short read. Well written, unique story, problem is book 2 comes out October 31st and the 3rd book in June 2023. Basically have to wait a whole year to finish the series. If you read quickly, recommend putting this in bookmarks on TBR list and read it closer to pub dates.
