This is Book 2 of a three-part SERIES and NOT a standalone.

Milo:
“There is nothing worse in this life than being in love with someone who doesn’t love you back. This is what I am when I am around her. Her hero when she accepts me. Her biggest nightmare when she rejects me. I have come to that conclusion. I can’t fight it. I can’t explain it to her because I could never explain it to myself either.”

Raven:
“The truth is, I have always been slow to react. I don’t lash out because I need time to analyze things at my own speed. People perceive that as me being logical and mature; wise beyond my age. I am not. I am indecisive and emotional. I just don’t show it. I have flaws. Lots of them. Like every human being, I am allowed to have them. I don’t want to cover them up as anything else.”

WARNINGS: This is a DARK romance, that contains triggers such as dubious consent and virus outbreak that some readers might find offensive. This is only a work of fiction intended for a mature, 18+ audience only. The author does not condone the behavior depicted.

I read book one and book two and all I can say is read it if you want and immature and indecisive FMC throughout the book annoying you. Why couldn't the author make her more decisive? She irritated me throughout both books. I genuinely can't stand her character.

This is a learning opportunity so I'll respond in length to ОF R: even if it's a pirated copy. a book about a whore! if you write good books, your books will be bought even after you read them.

The anti-feminist comment aside, I didn't express concerns about my book sales, nor is that the issue. Did you know that if a book listed on KU is pirated, Amazon punishes the author even though sites put up books against authors' wishes? Amazon KU shuts down authors, not the sites to steal the book or the anti-feminist readers who participate in the theft.

Authors will keep losing platforms to sell if readers continue supporting these sites. It will eventually force YOUR favorite authors to quit—obviously not me in lieu of the "whore" h's I write about (though I might simply call them a normal alive and breathing woman from the 21st century).

The better alternative is to reach out to authors for free ARC copies. Message me if you'd like to learn more about this issue to keep YOUR favorite authors in business. Knowledge is power. The more you know.

This is a pirated and published copy. I know some author's publish their work here but this was not published with author's approval. Someone also let me know that this version is also incorrect.
