Will’s human ancestors survived an oceanic sanctuary. Zach’s people were created in a lab when the oceanic domes lost contact. Both believe their own kind should inherit what is believed to be Earth’s last land habitat.
The two enemies meet in a saloon and, over drinks, discover each is being forced into marriage with a partner they dislike. If they can hide from bounty hunters for six months, they’ll be free men with the means to achieve peace among their people. Zach has a hiding place in an isolated swamp cabin but no funds for supplies. Will has the funds. Both agree to set aside differences and watch each other’s back. What can go wrong?
How about mutant predators, raging floods, an incurable plague… and an unscheduled heat in Will that arouses Zach, whose genetically engineered people are supposed to be immune to same-sex relationships.

INCEPTIVE is a sci-fi with adventure, fun banter, and steamy first times. There’s also a cyber-chipped talking roadrunner named Belle. Zach swears that bad bird is on the menu if the men run out of food. Will’s not worried about his pet. She’s always faster.
