I had mixed emotions about this book with the two stories. The first book with Reid and Fawn was too dark and cruel in parts and a convoluted story which didn’t flow as it had too many holes to the storyline and the relationship between the two MCs was drawn out and emotionally exhausting. The second book was better but again failed to flow it had some good moments with Sergei chasing Fredericka but the story was drawn out and jumped in the timeline and some of the important moments were rushed as was the ending. I liked the characters but the storylines needed better development.
