No entiendo porque a alguien le gusta este libro de mierda. No lo digo solo porque su protagonista sea un violín. O que se lucre con el morbo de escribir sobre la trata de personas. Sino porque parece escrito por una adolescente. Es tan mala su narrativa. Su estilo de escritura se nota que es de principiante. No me molesta una trama media absurda si por lo menos, cuando lo estoy leyendo no me recordara a un fanfic de Wattpad.

There are very mixed opinions on this book and I get it, I understand why some people hate it but for me personally - I loved it. The fmc in books often annoys me but I adore Addie. She's funny, a badass (especially part 2) and has a dark side to her that she had BEFORE Zade. So for those saying Zade repeatedly did things to her until she liked it, no. Read the book again, Addie always had a dark and depraved side to her mind. Even so, she held Zade accountable for the things he did to her. He wasn't going to show up on her doorstep with a box of chocolates and serenade her, this is dark romance, so he stalks her, is forceful with her and leaves a box of severed hands on her door step from a guy who wronged her. And I ate it up! If you read the trigger warnings and have seen the hype, you know to an extent what you're getting into. I love Zade, he's fiercely protective and obsessed with Addie - just how I like my fictional men. And the side character Sibby is amazing too. I just loved the eerie, Halloween vibes this book gave off. And the house of mirrors scene! It's etched into my brain. Read the triggers and expect dark themes. If you enjoy ACTUAL dark romance (not these mostly fluffy books that have a couple of dark topics but are otherwise vanilla), then this book is for you. There's one song in the recommended playlist that I felt fit so well with Zade too - Sway by So Below. Every time I listen to it I still picture Zade and I read this book 4 months ago:)

This book haunt me. Really haunt me for long time. It was the first time I felt so uncomfortable but at the same time so excited. it really consume me. I read it twice, trying to understand the passion and thoughts that drove them. At the end I love it, love it so much, although is still haunting me. Cartlon create something unique here.

I read this book because many people said they enjoyed it, and I regret it so much. This book is disgusting and just romanticizes r@pe and abuse under the notion of it being a 'dark romance'. It's not. It's not romantic in the slightest and all the MC does is r@pe Adeline over and over until she 'likes it' (Aka, develops Stockholm syndrome). Anyone who likes this series seriously needs to get checked for a mental disorder.

I loved this book and read it in like 4 days. Warning this is not for everyone and deals with a lot of sensitive things but it is about time. PS. if you could not read this do not read the second one it is disturbing but had to be said. This is my favorite book series of all but would not recommend it to anyone.

Found a great review on tiktok and couldn't wait. This book is intriging and had me in the first chapter, however, things just didn't add up within the story. It was almost as if its just too many stories going on at one time. (the ghosts, the diary, murder, trafficking, etc). I didn't like the part where they snuck off they he wanted her to call him "daddy" and him calling her "his little girl" (just seemed weird since he is ridding the world of sex traffickers and gross cause I don't get into that sh*t). If I had a stalker, I would want it to be Zade, but Addie just irritated me too much. It ends on a cliffhanger, so you gotta read book 2. This is a long read, but was ok for a dark story.

I've seen the ravings about this goddamn book and of course the "he fucks her with a gun omgg!" LMAOO sadly I've read that type of shit before in a Kennedy Ryan book long shot I think where the fmc is in a horrible, abusive relationship with her fiancé and one night after beating her to a pulp he proceeds to brutally rape her with his gun 'til she bled, so trust when I say y'all glamourize bullshit and look at us weird when we call it out 'cause it's "dArk roMance" give me a break. Anyways I bookmarked this a few months ago mildly intrigued but yeah no, it's obviously not for me. Y'all have fun tho

Another one of those popular series on booktoks/bookstagram which failed to impress me. The plot was no doubt intriguing but the story was stretched so unnecessarily that i had to fight the urge to skip chapters many times. The first book was still better than the second book. I cant believe I'm writing this but the only redeeming thing about this story was Zade Meadows. I usually hate toxic assholes but somehow i was not that upset about Zade's character. Possibly because of his complete devotion toward the female MC which most male MCs lack or because he walked the line between unhinged and heroic. Adeline on the other hand was infuriating. I failed to like her character despite reading 2 long books about her. I think if this series could had been just one book i would have liked it so much better.
I'm trying to find a book!!! The heroine's husband suddenly dies due to a boat accident and later on her she struggles because of her house condition. a man helps her with the construction work and she starts falling in love with him but then her house becomes haunted and her house cleaner's sister helps her with the ghost problem and they all find out that she was the ghost herself haunting a new family that was living in her old house.... it's a little similar to haunting Adeline. Please Help

This is book one and I really need to find this book to read book two 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 And the book one end o cliffhanger the scene is they are one a party at the enemy’s yacht and his cousin goes to talk to the FMC and shows the letter that she writhe(the enemy sent the letter to him to show she is in love him him) and they fight. She wants to go back to her client

really a mess of a book, boring and repetitive and drawn out. doesnt help that the ‘shadow’ is constantly going on about his work saving people from human trafficking. i think its supposed to be like ‘hey guys, its ok he does all this creepy stuff cause hes a hero!’ but it comes off so stupid. its to the point that he has no character aside from stalking and his work. feels like each chapter in his pov is wasted. hers arent much better, super repetitive and the whole murder mystery side plot is just boring
