Guardian's Touch was about Camilla and Dane. At the age of 17, Camilla not only lost both of her parents, but she also became the ward of Dane, a man she had known all of her life. She lived in his house for two years, barely seeing him in that time. She knew nothing of his business, where he went, or who he truly was. All she knew was that he seemed cold and cruel any time he spoke to her. But that didn't stop her from falling for him. Dane did everything he could to keep Camilla unaware of the fact he wasn't a good man. In fact, he was the head of the Chicago mob, and he was dealing with a faction that wasn't happy with his position. This story was fast-paced and a bit all over the place at the same time. For such a short story, it was full of angst and drama that were both OTT. There was very little interaction between the two main characters, and the story didn't share anything that happened from the time she went to live with him and the time the story really took place. It was a complete dead zone of content...or lack of it. Although it was an okay story, it wasn't worthy of more than a two-star rating. If there had been more meat to the bones of the book, that might have been a different outcome. As it stands, that's all it deserved. Especially as it ended on a cliffhanger with no information about any further books, which was quite disappointing.
Sakura Blossom, I'm not certain how I "ruined it for others". My review didn't reveal anything but MY opinion and the facts that were given in the blurb. I gave nothing away. I didn't go into detail on anything other than the book's lack of information and interaction between characters. If you don't like my reviews, don't f*king read them.
Thx for ruining it for others
