I started reading it because Metallica started playin in my head when I read the title but damn... ofc the main character is a Tolkien fan because the world building is.. chef's kiss. Letting the main character discover the Afterlife would had been enough to make me happy but No, we have to through in love, smut, violence (the sweet justice kind), humour, despair, war and emotional scenes that just.. I mean - I cried over a sock ffs!
