Fighting For Fiona by Susanne Ash
With my job on the line, the last person I expect to work with is the guy that broke my heart.
Fiona
I’m so close, I can taste it. My first big job producing and I know we can make this new movie a smashing hit on the streaming services. Especially with the hot new director my boss asked me to meet with. That’s before I know that the guy waiting for me at the bar is Joe, the man who broke my heart years ago.
I’ve moved on and built a life for myself in Wilmington, NC, the film capital of the south. At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself. Until I see him, looking mouth-wateringly good in his suit sitting on a barstool and all the old feelings come rushing in. Feelings I can’t afford to have if I want to save my job and prove to my boss I have what it takes as a producer.
Joe
Fiona Anderson is the one that got away. I never thought I’d get a second shot, but when the opportunity arises to work back on the east coast with her on my team, I jump at it. We always worked well together, but this time is different. She’s fighting me at every turn and it’s all I can do to keep my head clear when all I want to do is to kiss her and pick up where we left off.

It's a sweet idea of a plot but i couldn't finish because it took forever for anything to happen. Dragged too long on boring details.
