My forbidden husband.
I kissed my father’s best friend and it kind of didn’t go well.
Not only because he’s eighteen years older than me—but he also didn’t like it.
Not one bit.
In my defense, I didn’t mean to fall for him. It just happened.
Nathaniel Weaver is the most attractive man I’ve ever seen with enough charisma to blind the sun.
He’s bigger than the world, owns half of it and conquered the other half.
He was forbidden.
Wrong.
So I totally got over him. Or so I told myself.
Until we’re forced to get married.
Now I’m trapped.
But maybe he’s trapped too.
Because we’re both reaching for that forbidden fruit dangling between us.

The parents of Gwen's book is better, but what happened in this book strangely happens in the real world. But one thing is reasonable, Nathaniel calls Gwyneth "baby girl". He saw her since she was a baby girl...plural ! Not unreasonably like 365 days by netflix. It's cheap, cheese and I can say after reading almost all of Rina Kent's Royal Elites books, Empire, mafia, also 50 shades of grey, which released date far before that book 365 days was written of filmed, that 99% super too similar. 1% was only, it's about Italian mafia. 😁

I read it because I wanted to fill in the blanks for Empire of Sin. It's a no no for me. I didn't like it one bit 👎.

I seriously wonder how things escalate from "I have known her since she was a bottle fed baby and i was an adult" to "i want to fuck her so bad". If you were her uncle from the day she was born, albeit not a blood relative how do you suddenly start seeing her as a sexual partner that too as soon as she turns 18. Like is there a switch or something? Imagine writing a love letter to your SO and mentioning "The first time i saw you, you were a day old on this earth". Um NO thanks

okay this book , swap the characters with me and tom hiddleston . kidding . i loved the book a lot. which i know i love all of rina kent's book. this book like most of her books was less drama and more romance , and i love how we got to see their romance build over time.
