Duke by Jaime Lewis
Being the corpsman for his Navy SEAL team, Garrison “Duke” Reid was accustomed to helping others. But tragedy struck as the team prepared to head home from a joint training mission in Africa. Having doubts that he made the right call, Duke seeks solace in Hawaii’s tranquil environment, hoping that a few days alone with some sand, surf, and sunshine would help put the incident behind him. Little did he know that fate had other plans for him.
When Hannah O’Quinn jetted off to Hawaii, her only worry was checking off the most important quest on her late grandmother’s “bucket list.” But when she thought she had completely failed, a handsome stranger saves the day, gifting her with a priceless and unforgettable day.
When fate strikes again, and Hannah and Duke are reunited, sparks begin to fly between the two. As their relationship heats up, nobody senses the danger lurking nearby. Can Duke and his team protect Hannah from a killer looking for revenge?
Join Hannah and Duke on their drama-filled and suspenseful journey from Pearl Harbor to Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Jackson Hole.

Ok but felt too flat with a rushed plot line. There was a lot happening with family and friends and throw in a vengeful terrorist to add more angst. The romance wasn’t given time to develop as it was more of an insta love with a lot of coincidences. Had to skim read parts as too boring. As for the SEAL team they had some interest but wasn’t given much air time and more of a home town romance.
