My family cast me out to die…
But something worse than death found me.
Abandoned and weak, I am left in the woods.
When a creature of nightmare and red eyes finds me…
I know I’ve met my end.
Abbadon prowls the night thirsty for hearts.
But when he finds me, he doesn’t choose me as his prey.
He decides to claim me as his.
He takes me to his lair. I’m certain this is it for me.
Instead, I uncover the soul hidden in my monster.
When others come to hunt me, I’m finally forced to face the truth…
My demon lord is the most fearsome monster in this forest.

The best thing about this was the art and I'm pretty sure it's a.i. based on a Google search/no artist accredited. My opinion is the outlier here, but this wasn't for me. I struggled to finish it and I heavily skimmed at the end. It's very repetitive, inconsistent, over uses similes and metaphors, trying to create a gravitas or drama. To me it came across theatrical vs fantastical. Not inherently bad things, but gave it a heavy "it was a dark and stormy night" energy.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT COVER!!! Interesting story, suckie family but thankfully fate had someone better for her❤️ a quick-ish read, I found it to be romantic & sweet, not much in the way naughty-fun-times 😈😈😈😈😈 but I enjoyed it💋
