I’ve spent the better part of the last few years successfully avoiding my brother’s best friend, Weston Aldrich.
As CEO of Andes Inc, the infuriatingly handsome and incessantly grumpy Weston also happens to be my new boss.
It shouldn’t have been hard to continue avoiding him. After all, he’s on the executive floor and I’m one of many copywriters.
Weston has his own ideas about how things should go between us. He’s in my emails, leaving notes on my desk, and as if that’s not enough, he arranges for me to accompany him on a business trip.
That leads to stolen touches, frenzied kisses, and the undeniable need to work each other out of our systems. That always works, right?
Except now that I know what it feels like to have Weston Aldrich appreciate every inch of my abundant curves, avoiding him is impossible.
But he’s my brother’s best friend.
And a workaholic.
We have to stop.
And we will.
Soon.
Just…not yet.

abit long in the earlier plot, albeit abit later, the communications between both are very much needed and appreciated. like the book, it's a good book but there's room for improvement

This was overall a very cute read, and honestly very realistic.i really really loved the FMC. It sure felt pretty intense at times and i wish the proposal was more romantic. But I did truly enjoy it 💘

Weston’s and Elise’s deep feelings for each other finally surface after growing up with each other and with a strong bond with her family and brother Elliot. The romance plays out with a long road of Weston trying to let go of his business and make Elise his priority. The romance dragged in parts and felt drawn out and could have been pulled back a little. Elise ghosting her ex was immature and should have been dealt with better and even Weston’s antics and jealousy felt a little over the top. Story with Weston’s brother Miles added some family angst that added depth to the background of the characters and was a nice touch. I am sure there will be more to come with the rest of the friends Saiorse, Luca Elliot and Miles. A bit of a long read but enjoyable in parts.
