Not him. He pushes back just as hard. He got into my head, under my skin, and despite what we both are, he gives me hope. So I’m determined to do whatever it takes to get back to him, having no clue that he thinks I’m dead.
And what does Ax do when something he wants is taken from him?
He becomes the Savage.
Being on the run with him again fulfills my soul, but my freedom means too much to me, so I won’t let myself stop. And at the end of our journey, I’ll have a choice to make–become his, everything else be damned, or…
