She was never meant to work her way under my skin…so why can’t I breathe without her?
I knew the first time Avery walked into my classroom that she was trouble.
She used my reputation against me to get exactly what she wanted. I treated her like the dirty girl she was, spoiling her rotten in every way. It was perfect, until she wanted the one thing I wasn’t willing to give her: my heart.
Now I watch from the sidelines, regretting the day I sent her running away from me into another man’s arms.
I shouldn’t be jealous.
I shouldn’t burn for her touch.
I shouldn’t want to shred any man who touches her, demanding all her attention be focused on me.
But I can’t stay away. Can’t stop myself from giving her what she wanted from the beginning.
Her Daddy, who worships his dirty girl.

Note: This book was previously titled “Academic Dishonesty.” It has been retitled, reedited, and minor changes have been made but the story remains the same.

Don't let the other two comments turn you away from what was actually a pretty good book. The writing was good and it was steamy with just a tiny bit of suspense and danger. I think for me though, I was spoiled on a few darker novels and that kind of ruined the somewhat more mild books for me. If not I would've probably given this book a 4/5 but, seeing as how I was spoiled I'm giving it a 2/5

Totally agree with you @ Memphis Layne. He was an asshole. No marriage or babies in their future??? What??

No apologies were made even though he was an ass. Relationship felt surface level. 1/5
