After booking the cruise ticket for the Infinity Voyager, I was looking forward to having three days of rest and relaxation. My plans were to get some sun, eat some good food, and come back to my life refreshed.
I should’ve known that fate had other ideas when every plan I made went to h-e-double hockey sticks. Opening the door to my cabin I expected to settle in and relax. To my surprise someone else was already in my room, enjoying it.
Not just anyone, it was the man I’ve been crushing on since he became my client a few years ago, Barrett Thomas. Even though all I wanted to do was lean into that attraction I couldn’t. He’s forbidden, and if I give in to him I could lose everything I’ve worked so hard for.

I’m living my dream but lately I’ve been feeling like something is missing. The dream I thought I wanted doesn’t fulfill me in the ways it used to and apparently, it’s making me grumpy. Or at least that’s what my best friend Sean tells me. He offers me a chance to relax and not worry about what it might cost me. The plan is to relax, maybe meet someone and figure out what I’m doing with my life.
The moment I saw her on the same cruise ship as me, everything clicked in place. Sarah Norman was my future. Fate helps me out when she places Sarah in the same room as me. Now it’s time to figure out how to take our relationship from business to ALL personal.
