Credence by Penelope Douglas
From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas comes a new standalone…
Tiernan de Haas doesn’t care about anything anymore. The only child of a film producer and his starlet wife, she’s grown up with wealth and privilege but not love or guidance. Shipped off to boarding schools from an early age, it was still impossible to escape the loneliness and carve out a life of her own. The shadow of her parents’ fame followed her everywhere.
And when they suddenly pass away, she knows she should be devastated. But has anything really changed? She’s always been alone, hasn’t she?
Jake Van der Berg, her father’s stepbrother and her only living relative, assumes guardianship of Tiernan who is still two months shy of eighteen. Sent to live with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, in the mountains of Colorado, Tiernan soon learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore. As the three of them take her under their wing, teach her to work and survive in the remote woods far away from the rest of the world, she slowly finds her place among them.
And as a part of them.
She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching.
One of them has her.
The other one wants her.
But he…
He’s going to keep her.

Can someone help me find this book please? So it's about a girl who visits her dad in prison, her dad is very influential person, and she happens to meet another inmate there who rescue her from a attack, then then she keeps visiting him in secrecy from her family. I think they had s3x whenever they met, anyway it is a short story. Please help me find this book!!
Google recommended The Inmate by Freida McFadden or Hidden Ties by Carmen Rosales. Hopefully its one of those!
This book was crazy
Honestly i'm kinda hating on noah, he may seem like he genuinely wants tiernan but he just wants sex, hes just coating his words with a bit of sweetness here n there
I really enjoyed this book, I loved the foresty, small town winter vibes. Very taboo but I don't understand how people are sickened by it. They're not blood related and she didn't grow up around him so it's not like he knew her throughout her childhood..idk, it wasn't that bad to me, there's worse out there. The only thing that made it gross is her actually calling him uncle and having a love triangle with a grown man and his sons. The fmc annoyed me, sleeping around behind his back...idk, I feel like it wasn't really necessary to have her sleep with all 3 of them, Noah felt like an unnecessary temptation, it was clear that he only wanted sex, Kaleb and Jake wanted her for more than that. I liked her ending though! Jake's ending was predictable. Overall an enjoyable read, it just didn't quite live up to the mass hype for me :)
Lots of hype on tiktok and I debated reading it but finally went for it. It was interesting to say the least and it did have me hooked from the beginning. Although, I wonder why the uncle and brother were really involved at all...like was it REALLY that important to the story? I don't think so, but I didn't write it. Not up to the hype but it was an ok read.
Kendime not, okudum. Meh meh, gereksiz uzun.
Loved the book 😏
Love Kaleb! ❤️🫣🤫

As @Logan Sye said, it’s a very strange book. There were moments I was so disgusted that I wanted to close the book. Lines were blurred and crossed and, yes, sometimes things went too far. But I kept in mind that this is fiction. If these things would have happened irl -which I hope they haven’t- I’d be the first to fight for the person involved. But the story was heartbreaking as well as heartwarming, if you read the end you’ll know it too. Big chance you (the reader) are here because you’ve heard about this book and its reputation. So if you know yourself well enough to know things like ‘multiple partners, age gap, consent, explicit sexual scenes and violence’ trigger you, just don’t read this book or proceed with caution. Be honest with yourself, don’t try to keep up with the hype “because everyone else reads this and you should too.” I liked the book, even if it’s not sunshine and rainbows all the time. Enjoy the read if you decide to start this book. And enjoy the rest of your day if you decide not to.🌹
Thank you! Very helpful!!

This is f#*@ed up. And not in good way but still it's hot......but ......the story does not makes you feel justified for all that happened between them ..
It was not even a bad boy situation first of all and if u guys have nothing nice to say, then you better not write shit cause no one needs it.
It's same old the girl falls for the bad boy situation....... Soooo you could guess who she ends up with....
