Can this older mountain man help a woman acclimate to high altitude?

I’m definitely not in Kansas anymore.
Prairies have been replaced by white capped mountains,
And the scent of grass has been swapped with alpine.
My anxiety though… still in full swing.
It’s safe to say the tall, built, mountain man staring toward me isn’t helping any.
I should fly home now, I still have time to salvage Christmas.
Then again, what harm could come of one short drive?

People are idiots.
In reality, Christmas is a time for stress and exhaustion.
At least that’s what I thought until I met Jen.
She’s the cutest little worrywart I’ve ever met, and I can’t get her off my mind.
Thankfully, the snow starts falling and our plans go array.
Maybe Christmas is a time for magic,
I think we’re gonna find out.
