I used to be a mad devil on the battlefield, the Trio of Terror, until the Solcrue captured and bound me with the most painful of chains, the kind that links to every metal rib and will tear me apart if I try to remove it. Now I am stuck in a hell I cannot escape, bound by a straight-jacket of tines. Every thought echoes three times in my mind. My hands blur with every movement. We are one, but we are not meant to stay this way for so long.
I am burning up inside with the need to be free. It is a struggle to stay calm. When unit Redline returns my lost chain of hydramidium, the one the creators gave me, it eases my burden. Still, it is not enough.
When the Solcrue attack the human survivors who forage for those in our rebel camp, I’m tasked out on a defense mission. My building frustration explodes in a dangerous but effective maneuver. All but one of the humans make it back to camp. Now I am separated from the group with a woman who, in one glance, shuts off the chaos within me.
One touch from her has me reconsidering what I need.
I was created to serve… And when I save her from the attack, I finally understand why.
Only she has the power to tame the Trio of Terror.

All I want is to survive, to help my sisters of Solcrue servitude, and to bring peace to human and Titan kinds. But the Solcrue are ruthless and have no qualms about attacking my humble group as we search for berries and nuts to feed our growing camp of survivors. They play dirty. I try to fight back, but the pain from my burns makes me weak. Thankfully, the CyberTitans arrive just in time to defend us.
But they don’t all need to fight. One Titan is a blur as he barrels through the charging Solcrue, hitting with the power of three men. His fists and boots move as if there are three of each in some sort of time warp. His brothers shout at him to retreat, but the unit named Chaos doesn’t listen.
I am too slow and lag behind the other women. A blast from a Solcrue weapon punches a giant hole in the ground, cutting off my path. I have nowhere to hide and no escape until Chaos slams into me and carries me away from the battle.
Now we must find a new way back to our kinds, underground. But our journey exposes the most vulnerable parts of us both, and I discover something I want more than safety and refuge–him. To have him, all of him, I must find a way for them to be free.
A daring infiltration of a Solcrue camp is what it will take for me to acquire what Chaos needs. To do so, I have to shut down the over-protective beast first. And when I get inside the camp, I have to stay focused and not be distracted by mentions of ships and supplies that my friends desperately need.
I have always followed rules. I’ve never asked for anything. I’ve been a good girl.
I know Chaos would burn the world for me.
To save him, I have to be very bad.
