Rant 2: and the way he keeps talking about her youth and treating her childishly is so condescending. She deserved much better which made the rest of the romance hard to grasp.

This book sucked and fit the stereotypical dark romance where the girl is young and naive and a virgin but the guy is more experienced and dominant. Her character was written like she had fire hidden in her soul but the potential was lost when she caved to his dominance. This is likely due to her upbringing and having been conditioned to appease the men but it's honestly disgusting and disappointing. 2/5.
