I was wondering what was wrong with it. I had this odd feeling about it at the beginning. This is it. This is the problem. This reads like a Wattpad book and not like a proper adult well-written novel. There are no boundaries being pushed(in terms of the writing), there is nothing exceptional about it. The book is just meh, the gory is also meh and the sex is also meh.

One thing to add, I'm used to strong female leads, and Clove, well didn't really do much in the whole book, and she didn't come off as strong at all. So if you're looking for a strong female lead who kicks ass and takes no shit, then look elsewhere.

Not one to prefer what the author calls "omegaverse" but I enjoyed the book.
