Cecilia: The enigmatic biker is the one bright spot in my life. I see him three or four times a week at the cafe down the block. I chalk it up to a young woman not wanting drama in her life until I see her again a few days later. This time, she’s in my ICU, beaten to within an inch of her life. Someone’s going to pay. God have mercy on their soul. Because I won’t.
